The Eagle Transmission and Auto Repair franchise was established in 1983. Since then, they have grown into the largest transmission franchise in Texas. Eagle demands the best service and highest quality repair of its employees. This Denton location was established in 2002 and has worked hard to stand up to the standards set by the Eagle franchise. Be cautious when checking out Repair Shops that may quote you a price that you may think is unsually less expensive than others. Also be aware of shops that offer a price with the statement "plus hard parts" or "plus miscellaneous charges" because that is their "open door" to increasing your price to whatever they want it to be. The only real way to get an accurate estimate is to bring it in to us for our External Inspection. When we get the opportunity to look at the vehicle, we will give you an Estimate for the repair that is as accurate as possible and we will stick to it! Many shops get your vehicle dis-assembled then call you to tell you the price is higher. That is a game in the automobile industry that many untrustworthy shops play. We do not. I want happy customers that recommend me to others. My online reviews prove it!
For your convenience, we can provide you with a ride to work or back home if it is within 15 miles of our shop. If it is necessary that you leave the vehicle for a few days to perform your repair, we can provide you with information that will give you great discounts for a car rental.
Rick and John got my car in and the transmission rebuilt for a reasonable price and with minimal down-time. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process, drove me to and from my residence and the shop, and answered my (numerous) questions in great detail. They managed to answer the questions so that even a mechanical newbie like me would understand, without being condescending. If anything they seemed rather excited to know that I wanted to learn more. They even offered to show me the damaged, inoperable parts to compare to healthy, working parts!
